Not wishing to lose the momentum among Muslims that followed Israel shutting Har Habayis in response to the fatal shooting attack on the holy site, Fatah has declared Wednesday a “Day of Rage” throughout areas of Yehuda and Shomron. In addition, Fatah, which is the party affiliated with PA (Palestinian Authority) Chairman Abu Mazen, declared on Friday, 27 Tammuz, large prayer rallies will be held at central squares in PA cities as a form of protest against Israel and in an effort to keep the anti-Israel sentiment alive and well.

This is part of the Islamic community capitalizing on the closure of Har Habayis, as if Israel harmed al-Aqsa Mosque. Preferring not to address reality, the Islamic community is calling on Muslims to refuse to use the newly-installed metal detectors on Har Habayis, forgetting to mention the guns and knives found by Israeli security forces on the holy site following the attack.

There have violent protests and attacks against police in Arab areas of the capital since the erev Shabbos terror attack, once again part of the Islamic community’s outrage over Israel exercising her sovereignty over Har Habayis.
