Following the closure of Har Habayis to all non-Muslims on Sunday, 22 Tammuz, Jews were once again permitted to visit the holy site on Monday morning. The visit took place without the traditional Waqf escort, during which Waqf officials watch their every move to make certain no tefilos are recited. It is reported that Kaddish was recited at the site of Friday’s attack for the slain policemen.

Longtime Har Habayis activist, Yehuda Etzion, who spend years imprisoned over his battle for Har Habayis, address the group in the video.

Gedolei Yisrael over the generations and the Chief Rabbinate of Israel prohibit visiting Har Habayis, which they explain carries the punishment of karess.
