Jerusalem, Israel - July 11, 2017 - Traffic was stopped and security heightened, as tens of thousands of runners raced through the Jerusalem, Israel streets for the Jerusalem Maccabiah Night Run on Monday night. The evening was warm as runners, alone or in groups, raced through one of three routes, 5 or 10 Kilometers, or Half-Marathon.

Thousands watched and cheered on the runners. Special water bottles with Maccabiah labels were plentiful along the way and at the finish line. Medal were given out to all runners at he end of their race, all seemed to be smiling.

Men's and women's trophies were awarded in each division. The Women's 10 Kilometer race was won by Maccabiah USA  runner, Shaina from Baltimore.
