Baltimore, MD – Apr. 12, 2022 - The Baltimore community was graced with a short, but inspiring visit from the world renowned Gaon and Posek Harav Gavriel Zinner, Shlita, Rav of Kehal Nitei Gavriel in NY, and m’chabeir of over 30 volumes of the extremely popular Seforim Nitei Gavriel.

The Rav, Shlita, arrived in Baltimore to serve as the Sandek at the Bris Milah for the son born to Harav Amrom Jungreis, Shlita, Rosh Kollel of the Chasidishe Kollel K’hal Chasidim, who is also a very close Talmid of the Rav, shlita, for many years.

On Thursday evening the Rav gave a shiur B’inyanei Pesach in the Chasidishe kolel, Khal Kedushas Yisroel, which attracted a nice crowd.

On Friday morning, the Rav, shlita, davened Shacharis at Kedushas Yisroel where the Bris took place. Hagaon Rav Moshe Heineman, shlita, Rav of Agudas Yisrael of Baltimore, also davened at the same Minyan, and after davening both Torah giants immersed in a deep Torah discussion. Harav Heineman said that although he has many of the Rav’s seforim, and they have spoken on the phone several times, this is the first time they have met in person.

After the Bris, where the Rav was Sandek and Harav Heineman was mechubad with Berachos, Rabbi Zinner visited the Chasidishe Cheder where the children sang some Pesach songs and then had the zechus to hear divrei Torah from this esteemed guest.
