Gasoline prices are set to rise in Israel by 18 agorot a liter at midnight between Monday and Tuesday, the night on Tisha B’Av.

Following the price increase, a liter of 95 octane unleaded gasoline will cost 5.94 shekels at the self-service pumps. This means a gallon of gasoline will cost $6.67 based on the Bank of Israel closing exchange rate of Erev Shabbos; 3.36 NIS /1 US dollar.
