Jerusalem, Israel - Jan. 14, 2016 -  The Israeli Prime Minister's annual toast to new year for foreign journalists was held at the Jerusalem's Inbal Hotel on Thursday night. Ambassadors, including those from Nepal, Russia, Thailand and Uruguay, joined international journalists in the hotel ball room for food and wine before the formal program.

Cyber-technology and security were themes of the speeches. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke briefly before asking for questions. Journalists posed questions to Prime Minister about Sweden and EU and Israel. Illegal building by EU is problem, and labeling, but the relationship between countries in Europe and world has not been stronger. One question from a young solider who is working in media was about Israeli politics, the rest were current international issues.

Mark Regev, who has led the Prime Minister's Press Office, has been appointed Ambassador to England. Farewell speeches and gifts were presented to Regav, after the Prime Minister left the auditorium.
