The just over three minute long clip was translated to English by the Washington D.C. based Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) which bridges the language gap between the Middle East and the Western world by translating Arabic, Iranians and Turkish media, school books and religious sermons into English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

In the clip released on December 28th by MEMRI, activist Lina Allan shares her thoughts on why Muslims are permitted to stab Jews, criticizing those who say that the stabbings are contrary to Islam. 
Allan noted that being Muslim does not give anyone the right to decide what actions are “halal,” permitted and what should be forbidden “haram,” suggesting that those who do are basing their decisions solely on their personal preferences and not on the fundamentals of Islam.
“Sadly there are many in the Arab world who think that just because their mother and father are Muslim, they themselves automatically become muftis, and are allowed to say what is ‘halal’ and what is ‘haram.’”

Throwing a challenge out to her audience, Allan asked if those who oppose stabbing Jews are content to see Palestinian blood being spilled in attacks she describes as “the massacres, the barbarity, the slaughter.”

“Have we gotten so used to seeing Palestinian blood that when we see it on TV, we view it as stats, not as human beings?” asked Allan.

Allan takes Arab governments to task for offering mere platitudes when Palestinians die and counsels those who feel the stabbing Jews is wrong to keep their opinions to themselves and that their compassion is misplaced when they portray themselves as human rights activists.

“Let me tell you that at best you are representing animal rights,” declared Allan. “Not human rights, but at best, animal rights.  Let me tell you, even animals would not object to this if they could talk.”

Allan dismissed those who offer opinions on the subject, stating that only those who live in Palestine can understand the suffering of the Palestinians and have a right to speak out on the matter.

“I wish that you would stop interfering. Spare us your views and go back to watching Turkish soap operas.  It would be better if you didn’t talk about something you didn’t understand.”

At no point in the video does Allan, who is flanked by a sign bearing the words, “Calm and proud to be an Arab,”  distinguish between the stabbing of Jews who live in Israel or those who live anywhere else in the world.

Saying she supports only the Palestinian people and any decisions they make on their own in order to regain their land, Allan disclaimed any connection to the Palestinian government or any political party.

“There is something that everybody must understand,” stated Allan. “Israel has occupied all the Arab countries,  in order to cement in its occupation of Palestine,” declared Allan. “But it has failed. Nobody can.”

According to an interview with Jordanian television, Allan represented the State Department’s United States Middle East Partnership Initiative in Jordan’s 2012 Jameed Festival, an annual event celebrating a wide range of products made with jameed, a hardened, leben by-product that is used in Jordanian cuisine.
