Jerusalem, Israel - Mar. 22, 2026 - This past Shabbos and Motzei Shabbos, ballistic missiles fired by Iran exploded directly within residential areas in both Dimona and Arad. The devastation is immense, with nearly a hundred Yidden injured. Many are seriously wounded and in a state of sakanas nefashos (danger to life). May Hashem send them a Refuah Shlama.

Beyond the physical injuries, many are hospitalized for shock, suffering varying degrees of mental and physical trauma. The sheer force of the blasts has been horrific beyond human comprehension. This is compounded by the total destruction of homes and property; families have been left homeless, without clothes or the basic necessities of life.

At the same time, the miracles we have witnessed are beyond understanding. That these ballistic missiles landed between residential buildings rather than directly upon them is a clear nes (miracle). While the damage is severe, it could have been far worse—a sign that Hashem is still watching over us.

No words can fully describe the pain of our people. Our thoughts are also with the troops gathered in the north, fighting the Hezbollah enemy as they fire missiles into the yishuvim across the northern border. The families of these brave soldiers carry a heavy burden of worry and need our support.

At a minimum, we must cry out to Hashem in our daily davening. The Noda Biyehudah instituted the recital of twenty perkei Tehillim daily during wartime; perhaps we can commit to saying at least five perakim per day before Pesach for *אחינו בית ישראל הנתונים בצרה ובשביה*.

The suggested chapters are:
*ג, ז, י״ז, י״ט, כ, כו, לב, לד, מ״ג, נה, ס, סג, סט, עא, עה, צ, קיז, קכג, קלט, קמג*

We are in the midst of a war that is surely chevlei Mashiach. In these times, one must strengthen their emunah and bitachon, as the pasuk says:
> *בטחו בה׳ עדי עד כי בי-ה ה׳ צור עולמים*

> *ויבטחו בך יודעי שמך כי לא עזבת דורשי ה׳*

May we be zocheh to see the yeshuas Hashem ke-heref ayin, speedily in our days!
