This is apparently one of the strangest calls that firefighters have dealt with in Germany: a malfunction in a chocolate factory in the west of the country led to a liquid chocolate river that flowed freely through the streets.
Dozens of firefighters were summoned to an interesting scene in a small town called Werl, located in western Germany. It was a full tank of overflowing chocolate, and a ton of liquid chocolate leaked into the street and flooded it.
The firemen blocked the flooded and sticky street, and cleaners cleaned the chocolate off the road and cleaned it. “Despite the unfortunate incident, there will be enough chocolate left for the holidays,” he said.
