Baltimore, MD - June 7, 2018 - This coming Shabbos, Parshas Shelach, TA will be hosting its first ever Community Shabbos entitled The TA Community Shabbos:  Our Children, Our Community, Our Future.  For over 100 years, TA and the Baltimore community have partnered in the Torah education of our community’s children.  This Shabbos, hosted in the community's shuls, will celebrate this partnership, and solidify this relationship for the next 100 years.

Beginning on Erev Shabbos, Elementary School Rabbeim will meet with Elementary School students a half hour before mincha for learning, a story and Erev Shabbos kugel.  This program will take place before the early mincha/kabbolas Shabbos at Darchei Tzedek, KAYTT, Ohel Moshe, and Shomrei Emunah.

Friday night, TA Rabbeim and Menahalim will be speaking at Bais Haknesses Ohr Hachaim, Darchei Tzedek, KAYTT, Kehillas Meor HaTorah, Kehilath Bnai Torah, Kol Torah, and Suburban Orthodox.  After the Shabbos seuda, 4 different Ongei Shabbos will take place for 8th through 12th graders and their fathers at various locations.

On Shabbos day, once again the community will be addressed at different times by TA Rabbeim at Ahavat Shalom, Derech Chaim, Mercaz Torah U’tefillah, Ohel Moshe, Ohr Simcha, Shearith Israel, and Shomrei Emunah. In the afternoon, there will be a gathering of Elementary fathers and sons with their rabbeim at Kol Torah for Kol Haneraim/story with Rabbi Brecher, followed by mincha.  Later in the afternoon, there will be a mincha/shalosh seudos for fathers and sons of 6th and 7th graders, also at Kol Torah.  There will also be a shiur for women in the afternoon.

TA invites the greater community to join in these gatherings!  Please see the full schedule below with times, speakers and locations.
