Three major violent acts, which are being attributed to criminal activity, took place in Israel on Wednesday. In the first incident, a 40-year-old man was shot and killed in Haifa at the Shikmona beach. “We transported the man in critical condition after being shot in the upper body to Rambam Medical Center while we attempting to resuscitate him. When we arrived at the medical center the staff there took over but were eventually forced to pronounce his death,” said Magen David Adom paramedic Itzik Shushan.

Magen David Adom EMTs and paramedics treated the man and then transported him while performing CPR in an attempt to resuscitate him. A Police spokesperson said that the incident is criminal in nature and that an investigation has been opened into the case and searches are underway to find the killer.”

Just before 11 p.m., United Hatzalah reported that they had treated two people in the central region for upper body stab wounds in less than an hour. According to the report, the first stabbing victim was stabbed in a restaurant on Aluf David Street in Ramat Gan. He was treated at the location before being transported to the hospital luckily having sustained only light injuries.

The second incident occurred a short time later when a man was stabbed in his lower extremities in a courtyard of a residential building on Usishkin Street in Tel Aviv. The man was moderately injured and evacuated tot he hospital after receiving medical treatment at the scene by volunteers from the organization.

Both incidents are under police investigation, but it is currently assumed that they were criminal in nature.
