Baltimore, MD - Mar. 8, 2018  - As part of its ongoing partnership with Jewish Caring Network (JCN), the Ohr Chadash Academy Middle School visited the Tikvah House to bring the joy of Purim to families staying at the house. The Tikva House is a comfortable home-base for Jewish families caring for a loved one receiving treatment at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Being away from one’s home during a holiday can be difficult so the OCA Middle School wanted to bring an extra level of joy and festivity to the house in honor of Purim.  Middle school students spent a day decorating the Tikvah  House from top to bottom with balloons, Purim masks, banners and streamers.  The students also assembled Mishloach Manot which were distributed to each of the families occupying a room in the house over Purim.

OCA looks forward to continuing its relationship with JCN and assisting them in carrying out their important work helping children and families in need while facing illness.
