Baltimore, MD - Sept. 4, 2017 -  Labor day for most signifies a day off of work, cook outs and the end of Summer. However to Councilman Isaac "Yitzy" Schleifer, today presented a perfect opportunity to get something done for the community. After hearing of a park in lower Park Heights that needed their playground mulching done, he jumped into action. In concert with R' Binyamin Moss, other members of Rabbi Moshe Hauer's Chabura, as well as other volunteers, they got the job done.

The playground mulching is complete and the team of study participants made a major Kiddush Hashem by giving back to the community. Dedicated public servants and community oriented individuals never take a day off of work.

Happy Labor Day!
