Police are looking for a person who stole cigarettes from Royal Farms stores in Baltimore County.

On Wednesday, the person approached the counter of the store in the 6000 block of Falls Road and asked for four cartons of Newport cigarettes. When the clerk walked away to get the cigarettes, the person reached over the counter and grabbed the cigarettes.

On March 15, the person asked a clerk at the store in the 1500 block of East Joppa Road for six cartons of Newport cigarettes. When the clerk asked for identification, the person walked out of the store. The clerk walked away from the register and the person ran behind the counter and grabbed six cartons of cigarettes, police said.

On March 8, the same person asked a clerk at the store in the 7200 block of York Road for four cartons of Newport cigarettes, but ran out of the store after a customer yelled at him for trying to take the cigarettes, police said.

The person got into a silver minivan and left the scene.
