Last Monday, the eve of Israel's Memorial Day for its fallen soldiers, Itzik Saidyan, an IDF veteran set himself on fire in front of an office of the Defense Ministry responsible for the rehabilitation of wounded soldiers. He was diagnosed with a 25 percent disability due to his post-traumatic stress disorder after participating in Operation Protective Edge in Gaza in 2014.

People with disabilities in wheelchairs also took part in the demonstration on the Ayalon highway.

"Shame" or even "We are all Itzik Saidyan" could be read on the participants' signs. Read more at i24
