Baltimore City officials are preparing for potential flooding Monday into Tuesday in low-lying areas throughout the city as a result of Tropical Storm Isaias.

Mayor Jack Young encouraged residents to prepare now for possible flooding in areas near the harbor and other waterways, including areas near Thames Street in Fells point, areas near Smith Avenue and Falls Road, and the Clipper Mill Business Park. Residents should move their cars to higher ground as soon as possible and secure all outside furniture and trash cans, city officials said.
