The Anti-Defamation League said Friday that an arrest has been made in connection to bomb threats made against the organization and several other Jewish institutions, citing security officials.
The ADL said it was told by the FBI, the New York Police Department and New York State Police about the arrest.
The ADL tweeted Friday morning: “FBI, NYPD, and [New York State] police told us arrest made in bomb threats against ADL; several other Jewish institutions. Thx 2 them! More info as get it.”
FBI arrests Juan Thompson, 31, in St. Louis, MO, Accused of making at least 8 of the threats against Jewish community centers.
On Feb. 22, the ADL’s national office in New York received a bomb threat.
