Jerusalem, Israel - July 17, 2016 - Entering the Waldorf-Astoria Jerusalem, fresh orchid displays have greeted visitors in the elegant lobby, since its opening over a year ago.

The elevator to the fourth floor, now leads to a new Terrace Roof Top Restaurant and Bar. A grand opening evening was held last week, with members of the Jerusalem business community and owners of the hotel, the Reichman family present.

Casual seating arrangements and beautiful views are features of this new meat restaurant. Creative cocktail drinks and imported cigars are additions to the usual wine and whiskey bar menus found around Jerusalem, Israel. Overlooking the hotel atrium roof, the new dining site is an impressive location to sit and enjoy the cool Jerusalem night breezes.

After speaking with former Potomac, Maryland residents, Rabbi Joel and Aviva Tessler at the party, BJL also went downstairs to the lower level to see their new business venture, Saphira Salon.

When the Tesssler's daughter Saphira married Aviad Greenberg, the young couple worked to launch a Dead Sea beauty supply and cosmetic line called Saphira Hair Care. They have been expanding since 2012.

First, the Waldorf gave out Saphira's Mineral Mud to all guests. Now, Rabbi and Aviva Tessler are proud to work with their daughter and son-in-law to make a success of the Saphira Salon. The hotel beauty shop and spa is located in the lower level of the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem. Near the meeting rooms, named for the tribes of Israel, the beauty spa is open to all hotel guests and the public by appointment.
