New York - The wife of Nobel laureate and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel says she’s grateful for the outpouring of support that has come after his passing.
Marion Wiesel said in a statement Saturday that her husband was a fighter who waged countless battles for innocent victims.
She says he fought for the memory of six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust and to protect innocent victims without regard for their ethnicity.
