Mayor says explosion from small bomb on back of vehicle, but police maintain unclear if terror attack or accident as empty bus in Talpiot neighborhood goes up in flames and second bus catches fire

Fifteen people were injured in a possible bus bombing in Jerusalem Monday afternoon. Two of them were badly injured, one of them critically.

Initial reports indicated the number 12 bus, which was empty at the time, exploded as it was passing near the Talpiot neighborhood in the southern end of the capital. The blast apparently set a second bus and a car nearby on fire, injuring 16 people.

Police said it was not clear if the incident was a terror attack, but officials indicated the fire started with a blast from inside the bus.... Read More: Times of Israel
