Jerusalem, Israel - Apr. 8, 2016 - 600 of the greatest young entrepreneurs and game-changers, 200 from America, 200 from Europe, and 200 from Israel, met for five days and nights, dividing the time between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Under the theme “Co-Investment, Co-Creation and Co-Existence,” innovators, inventors, mentors and investors focused on entrepreneurship and long-term, market-driven solutions to global problems. The Forbes Under 30 Summit is an extension of Forbes magazine’s annual 30 Under 30 list and attendees of this summit were selected from the lists.
Sitting on colorful pillows and under umbrellas to shade from the hot sun, on Wednesday, the Forbes Under 30 Summit met at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Israel , to hear from a long list of inspirational and impressive speakers.
Okieriete Onaodowan, the Nigerian American actor who originated the roles of President James Madison and Hercules Mulligan in the musical Hamilton on Broadway, was on one panel. Ibrahim Sana was in another discussion.
Steven Bertoni, senior editor of Forbes, and Richard Behar, Forbes Magazine contributing editor, participated in the program. Katie Meyler, More than Me, told of her work with poor children in Africa. Monica Lewinsky moderated a panel and stressing her new role trying to reduce bullying in social media.
One example of participants under 30, Kostapanos Miliaresis of Greece and Regis Pradal, from France, both founded websites to place people in needed volunteer positions.

BJL appreciated meeting Sandy Carlin of the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation. Carlin received an autographed copy of a book about early days of the campaigns to save Soviet Jewry, in which his mother Shoshana Cardin is mentioned. Also, in the Israel Museum Billy Rose Garden, where the program was held, one of the contemporary art works made of concrete and glass is called Equinox by Micha Ullman. Equinox was purchased in honor of Shoshana Carlin's 80th birthday.
The Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit culminated with a special concert performance synchronized to a virtual reality experience—at the most historic “music venue” on earth, the 3,000 year-old Citadel of Jerusalem, known for millennia as the Tower of David.
Last year the Under 30 Summit was held in Philadelphia, this was the first time it was held in Israel. Some participants had been to Israel "many times," but for others it was a first time experience and a positive one.
