After the thirty-third fatality in the recent wave of terror, Women in Green along with the Council of Gush Etzion is holding a 33-hour vigil near the Israeli Prime Minister’s residence in Jerusalem, Israel.
Politicians are scheduled to speak, wiith Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan and MK Betsalel Smotrich on Monday morning. Israelis are encouraged to come and show support. Women in Green, led by Nadia Matar and Yeudit Kassover have called for Israel to proclaim sovereignty over the disputed territories. Their plan is to once and for all announce ownership of the Land.
Matar and Kassover said, "We must, once and for all, cut off the hope of the enemy. Yes. The hope. It is not despair that drives the enemy, but hope. The hope of establishing a Palestinian state in the heart of our Land. This is what they are fighting for. And this hope must be cut off by the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria and the implementation of in our entire Land."
