The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated two terrorists in a strike in southern Gaza who were involved in smuggling weapons and military equipment into the Strip.

The strike took place Wednesday in the Khan Yunis area, targeting Basel Nabil Abd al-Rahman Kashta and Ahmad Raja al-Shaer. According to the IDF, the two were responsible for procuring and trading weapons and advancing smuggling operations into Gaza.

The military noted that the operation was intended to remove an immediate threat to Israeli civilians and IDF troops operating near the Yellow Line. It added that precautions were taken to reduce the risk to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.

The IDF said forces under Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating against immediate threats.
