Agra D’Pirka is excited to announce a special Labor Day program in Baltimore featuring the Ziditchover Rebbe, Harav Yissocher Dov Eichenstein, shlit”a, and Rabbi Boruch Fried, of The Bais HaVaad Halacha Center in Lakewood. The Monday, September 7th event will take place at Khal Ahavas Yisroel Tzemach Tzedek (KYATT), 6811 Park Heights Avenue in Baltimore.

At 10:30 a.m., Rabbi Fried, who is also the Yorucho content editor, will speak about “Poaching Employees”, “Head Hunting”, and “Soliciting Other People’s Cleaning Help”. At 11:30 a.m., The Ziditchover Rebbe will present “Divrei Chizuk: Preparing for the Yom Hadin”.

Agra D’Pirka founder Ezra Klein notes, “This is a very busy week for Agra D’Pirka. We started a new program in the Five Towns of New York City. It was very well received with close to 40 people attending the first two days of shiurim. This is in addition to planning the special September 7 holiday program and the special selichos program for several locations. Agra D’Pirka is there to fill gaps in Torah learning for the Jewish public.”

Agra D’Pirka Queens special Labor Day programming will include Rav Noach Isaac Oelbaum, shlit”a, Mora D'Asra of Khal Nachlas Yitzchok, who will speak on the topic of “Preparing for Rosh Hashanah”. In Flatbush, Rabbi Eliezer Dovid Rappaport and Rav Aharon Kahn, shlit”a, Rav of Knesses Bais Avigdor and Agra D’Pirka’s Moreh Derech, will be the featured speakers. In Miami Beach, “Yoma d’Kallah: an immersive day of learning” will take place at the Miami Community Kollel. That program will feature Rabbi Ari Marburger, who serves as a dayan for the Bais Din Maysharim of Lakewood, and Rabbi Alexander Charlop, Morah d’Asra of Congregation Zichron Chaim, in Cleveland. A special program is also planned for Agra D’Pirka’s newest location in the Five Towns, at Young Israel Lawrence-Cedarhurst.

Prior to Labor Day, Agra D’Pirka will be holding special Selichus shiurim, including one in Queens, at Congregation Nachlas Yitzchak on motzei Shabbos, September 5. At 10:30 a.m., Rabbi Aharon Kahn is scheduled to speak, followed by Rav Noach Isaac Oelbaum at 11:30 a.m.

Rav Aharon Kahn reminisces, “Agra D’Pirka began as a simple, hopeful idea: to create a sacred space where people could spend their day immersed in Torah, supported, comfortable, and surrounded by genuine camaraderie. Eighteen years later, that dream has matured into a vibrant, beloved program that enriches the lives of thousands. Although it was originally envisioned with senior citizens in mind, Agra D’Pirka has become a home for anyone who wants to learn. Shiurim of substance, chavrusas, breakfasts, snacks, and a warm, respectful environment all come together to form a place where Torah study feels natural, joyful, and sustaining. It all began in our shul.”
