Washington, D.C. - July 8, 2025  - At least one United States airline will begin flights into Israel later this month. 

United Airlines said on Tuesday that it would resume its route from New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) on July 21. A second flight will restart on July 22 as well. 

United says that its decision to resume the route comes after “a detailed assessment of operational considerations in the region and close consultation with the unions representing our flight attendants and pilots.”

The airline will use its Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners to serve the route. United’s partner airline, Lufthansa, is also planning to start operating flights into Israel again on August 1. Fellow European carrier Air France resumed its flights from Paris to Tel Aviv on July 7.... Read More: TravelPulse
