Baltimore, MD – April 11, 2025 – Tide Realty Capital, a local real estate investment management and advisory firm, recently partnered with Chasdei Lev Baltimore and the Network for Kindness to host two of the region’s largest Pesach food distributions at Reisterstown Road Plaza (“The Plaza”).

On Sunday, March 23, the parking lot behind Home Depot was transformed into a bustling hub of chesed, where Chasdei Lev Baltimore, with the help of over 50 volunteers and 20 local schools and organizations, distributed more than 200 tons of food and household essentials — valued at over $900,000 — to hundreds of rebbeim and their families in preparation for Yom Tov.

A week later, on Sunday, March 30, Network for Kindness held its own major distribution at the same location, serving additional families across the community.

“We were honored to host both Chasdei Lev and Network for Kindness for their respective holiday food drives,” said Aaron Loeb, President of Tide Realty Capital. “It’s becoming a meaningful tradition for us and reflects The Plaza’s commitment to community impact that extends far beyond retail. We want The Plaza to be a space that serves — a place where people gather, support one another, and find connection.”

Chasdei Lev Baltimore, focused on supporting educators, and Network for Kindness, which serves a broader cross-section of the community, have both made use of the Plaza’s infrastructure to carry out their work with efficiency, dignity, and warmth.

Since 1962, Reisterstown Road Plaza has been a cornerstone of the community — not only as a shopping destination but as a hub for outreach, engagement, and meaningful initiatives. Its continued partnerships with organizations like Chasdei Lev and Network for Kindness reflect a shared mission to uplift, empower, and unite the Baltimore community.
