Winds will start picking up tonight and could reach 45 MPH by morning. A squall line is forecasted to move through the area around noon on Wednesday, bringing thunderstorms, gusts over 60 MPH, and potentially hail or a tornado. The worst conditions will likely hit Baltimore and Washington around 2:00 PM EST and move across the Chesapeake Bay shortly after.

Rainfall is expected to total between half an inch and an inch, with minor ponding possible, but flooding is not anticipated.

On Thursday, as the storm system moves out, it will remain windy, with gusts near 45 MPH. However, the rest of the week should stay dry, with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s and lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. The next chance of rain may not arrive until Saturday.
