Baltimore, MD - Feb. 24, 2025 - In a fast-paced world where meaningful connections can sometimes be hard to find, Camp Bubby is offering senior women a vibrant space to laugh, learn, and grow. Founded by experienced occupational therapy professionals Zahava Weiss and Shoshana Goldberg, the program was created to fill a void—providing seniors with opportunities to socialize, stay active, and find renewed purpose in their daily lives.

Building Friendships, One Gathering at a Time

Each week, a lively group of senior women come together to share stories, support one another, and form lasting friendships. The program fosters a deep sense of community, where participants leave feeling energized, inspired, and connected.

“Our goal was to create a space where women could truly thrive,” says Shoshana Goldberg. “The friendships and joy that have come out of this program are beyond what we imagined.”

Engaging Activities for Mind and Body

Camp Bubby offers a variety of activities designed to promote well-being and personal fulfillment:

• Exercise & Movement: From chair yoga to light aerobics, participants enjoy staying active in a way that suits their abilities.

• Creative Crafts: Seasonal projects and handmade gifts encourage creativity while producing cherished keepsakes.

• Cooking with a Cause: Participants prepare meals and baked goods for local organizations, combining fun in the kitchen with meaningful giving.

• Special Guests & Speakers: From musicians to inspirational speakers, the program features engaging presentations that leave a lasting impact.

A Growing Impact

With the program’s success, Zahava  and Shoshana are looking to expand. Plans include adding a second weekly group and launching a dedicated men’s program, ensuring even more seniors can benefit from the sense of connection and joy that Camp Bubby fosters.

Community Support & Sponsorships

As the program grows, community support is essential. Sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals and businesses looking to contribute to this mission of connection and fulfillment. Donations help fund activities, guest speakers, and outreach efforts for seniors in need of social engagement.
