Hundreds Expected at Hachnasas Sefer Torah Ceremony on Fallstaff Road, Sunday, November 24th at 12 Noon

Baltimore, MD – Misaskim of Maryland is proud to announce the completion of a new Sefer Torah, dedicated to honoring the extraordinary dedication of rabbanim, community leaders, doctors, and medical professionals who guided and supported the community throughout the COVID pandemic.

This milestone represents the culmination of years of effort and the generous contributions of countless donors who turned the vision of a communal Sefer Torah into reality. The project was spearheaded by local askanim in collaboration with Misaskim, an organization renowned for its compassionate work supporting those in need. Hundreds of community members joined forces to honor the selfless individuals who provided spiritual guidance, critical care, and unwavering support during one of the most challenging periods in recent history.

The Hachnasas Sefer Torah will, be’ezras Hashem, take place on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Congregation Kol Torah on Fallstaff Road. The entire community is invited to join in welcoming this special Sefer Torah with live music, dancing, and divrei Torah. This event not only celebrates the completion of the Sefer Torah but also serves as a testament to the strength and unity that define the Baltimore kehillah.
