Jerusalem, Israel - Nov. 13, 2024 - Arutz-7 - Following the murder of Ari Fuld in Gush Etzion, soon-to-be U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee shared his sorrow, describing Fuld as a close friend and an American-Israeli patriot who was "murdered in cold blood" by a young Palestinian terrorist. Despite being fatally stabbed, Fuld chased down the attacker and shot him, although he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Fuld’s brother, Eytan, an advisor to Religious Zionism party leader Bezalel Smotrich, posted Huckabee’s message, acknowledging the ambassador’s commitment to Israel and expressing hope that Huckabee would carry on Ari’s legacy of love for the country.
Ari Fuld, a father of four and active member of Efrat's emergency squad, died after heroically confronting his attacker near a mall at the Gush Etzion intersection. In a video from the scene, Fuld is seen trying to stand and pursue the terrorist before collapsing. His brother, Hillel Fuld, described him as a hero to the end. Related news reports noted that Iran and Syria were ordered to pay $191 million to the Fuld family, while the Palestinian Authority increased the attacker’s salary.
