Baltimore, MD - Aug. 3, 2024   -  Roughly 14% of customers have had power restored following outages caused by severe storms across central Maryland today, BGE said in a statement.

The company said that while almost 44,000 customers remained without service as of 9:00 p.m., just over 7,000 had already had service restored.

The customers remaining without power represent just over 1,000 restoration jobs across central Maryland.

The hardest hit areas were Baltimore City and Baltimore County, though BGE noted that damage is present throughout its coverage area.... Read More: FOX45
