For ten+ long years, Rabbi Dovid Frid has been trapped in his own body, completely bedridden, unable to move, unable to speak—only his eyes remain his voice.
Yet, through the unimaginable pain, the isolation, the relentless challenges, he has never given up.
He watches his children grow, unable to hold them. He listens to their voices, unable to answer back. He sees his devoted wife, Rochel, carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders—managing the home, the endless medical needs, the unbearable financial burden.

A federal judge ordered the Trump administration on Thursday to reinstate probationary workers who were let go in recent mass firings from six different agencies, including the Department of Defense.
The administration is expected to file an appeal against the ruling by U.S. District Judge William Alsup in San Francisco.
The judge’s order came during a federal court hearing over a lawsuit from labor unions and other groups challenging the mass termination being directed by the Office of Personnel Management. Those plaintiffs said it violates Administrative Procedure Act requirements and congressional laws that deal with agency hiring and firing practices.
The judge earlier ruled OPM lacked the power to fire workers, including probationary empl...

Several dozen protesters supporting Mahmoud Khalil occupied the lobby area of Trump Tower on Manhattan's Fifth Avenue on Thursday, calling for the release of the anti-Israel activist who was detained over the weekend.
The protesters, many dressed in red, held signs reading "Free Mahmoud, Free Palestine" and "Fight Nazis Not Students."
The NYPD could be seen hauling out multiple demonstrators in zip ties.
ICE agents arrested Khalil at his university-owned apartment on the city’s Upper West Side on Saturday. Agents told him they were revoking his green card and student visa, according to Khalil's attorneys.
The Jewish Voice for Peace, said it helped organize the protest. The group’s X account says its aim is to organize Jews "toward Palestinian liberatio...
Baltimore, MD - March 13, 2025 - What an incredible month for the talmidim, rebbeim, and parents of Yeshivas Mekor Chaim (YMC)! Earlier this month, YMC participated in its first-ever Crowdsource fundraising campaign. With a goal of $120,000, the boys created individual and grade-level teams to help their school raise funds in its first-ever, exhilarating campaign. The level of commitment was inspiring. After a two day-call center and week-long campaign effort, the yeshiva reached and exceeded its goal with the help of numerous community contributions and the generosity of our campaign matchers. Rewarded with pizza lunches and YMC branded ski beanies, the boys enjoyed a celebratory ski trip to Liberty Mountain Resort as a recognition of their efforts.
As always, YMC strives to infuse Torah...

Reports on Thursday alleged that Adam Boehler, Trump's envoy for American hostages and missing persons, has been removed from involvement in the negotiations for the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.
But the question is: Was he even involved in them to begin with?
Let's start with the negotiations for the hostages' release that are taking place in Cairo, Egypt. These talks are led by one person alone: Steve Witkoff, Trump's envoy to the Middle East.
Witkoff, in turn, communicates with Israeli Minister Ron Dermer, who is in charge of the negotiations on the Israeli side, as well as with senior Qatari and Egyptian officials. In fact, apart from Witkoff, no other senior figure is involved in the negotiations for the release of the hostages.
In recent weeks, a ...
