US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisers on Tuesday endorsed Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11.

17 members of the advisory panel voted in favor of the recommendation and one abstained.

The FDA will take the committee’s vote into consideration and then make a final decision about whether to authorize the vaccine for children.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) independent advisory committee will then meet on November 2 and 3, and will vote on whether to recommend the vaccine for this age group.... Read More: Arutz-7
