New rules starting Sunday deny access to many public areas for those who haven't received booster shot

New coronavirus rules went into effect on Sunday that invalidates the Green Pass for nearly two million Israelis jabbed with two vaccine doses but who have not yet received the booster shot.

However, the Health Ministry announced on Sunday morning that the old Green Pass will still work "in the coming days" due to an overload in the issuance of the new vaccine certificates showing all three jabs.

Israelis without the new Green Pass showing that they got the third vaccine dose will not be able to enter many public areas unless they present a negative PCR test from the previous 72 hours or a negative rapid antigen test from the previous 24 hours.... Read More: i24
