Hezbollah 'wanted to show that Israeli air strikes would be responded to and in an appropriate manner'
The leader of Iranian terror proxy Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah said on Saturday that while his group had chosen to strike open terrain in Israel, it could escalate with a different strategy in future.
Hezbollah fired a volley of rockets towards Israel on Friday, drawing retaliatory fire from Israel Defense Forces (IDF) into south Lebanon in a third day of cross-border back and forth amid wider tensions with Iran.
