Iran and regional forces it backs have increasingly relied on drones in Yemen, Syria, Iraq in recent years.
Iranian military drones have a range of more than 4,000 miles, the country’s media reported, citing the commander-in-chief of the Revolutionary Guard Corps, Hossein Salami.
The revelation comes as Tehran is deep in negotiations that may see it returning to a 2015 nuclear deal that former President Donald Trump withdrew the US from, while slapping sanctions on Iran.
