PA President Mahmoud Abbas tells Israeli lawmakers and peace activists that he regularly meets with Shin Bet chief Nadav Argaman, and that he agrees with Israeli security forces 99 percent of the time, according to reports in Hebrew-language media.
At the meeting in Ramallah, Abbas says that he supports Israel’s security.
At the same meeting, Abbas claimed that several countries oofered to host a meeting between himself and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu but the offers were turned down by Netanyahu.
