A father of 10 was fatally shot by a Pasquotank County sheriff’s deputy in North Carolina, according to news outlet WAVY-TV.

The shooting occurred around 8:30 a.m. when officers were executing a search warrant in Elizabeth City, N.C.

Andrew Brown, 40, was identified by family as the victim, WAVY reports. He was said to have been in his car, trying to drive away. Neighbors said at least a half dozen shots were fired. Read more at NY Daily News
