Baltimore, MD - Oct. 4, 2017 - Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, Baltimore is looking forward to the second annual community-wide Hoshana Rabba night learning program!

Boys of all ages are invited with their father, with a chavrusa, or alone to join Rabbanim from many shuls and hundreds of other boys.   The program will take place in the Shomrei Emunah Social Hall and Sukkah, 6221 Greenspring Ave., on Tues October 10th  from 8:30 to 9:30pm.

Hoshana Rabba is considered to be the final day of divine judgement in which the fate of the new year is determined, and when the verdict that was issued on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is finalized. Accordingly, there is a minhag to spend extra time learning on Hoshana Rabba night. As so many community members learn Torah together during this auspicious time, IY’H it should be a special zechus for our entire community.

Thanks to a generous sponsors, there will be a prize and pizza for EVERY boy, plus a grand raffle with amazing prizes.  For more information and to join in sponsoring this event, see details here.

Plans are currently in the works to make this year’s program even more uplifting and special!  For now, see below for pictures of last year’s program.
