“It can take a few days and sometimes more,” said Barry Burden, the director of the Elections Research Center at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
An especially tight race, as expected this year, can make it even more difficult to call a winner in the hours after polls close, experts tol...

A short while ago, the IAF conducted an aerial operation and struck Hezbollah terror targets belonging to Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters in Syria, the IDF confirmed Monday evening.
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit stated that this is Hezbollah’s central intelligence body, responsible for intelligence assessments, the direction of intelligence activities, and intelligence gathering and detection capabilities.
Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters has a branch in Syria, which includes an independent intelligence gathering, coordination, and assessment network under the direct command of Hezbollah's Head of Intelligence, Hassan Ali al-Zaima. Both he and Hashem Safieddine were eliminated in a recent operation in the Dahiyeh area of Beirut.

Moshe Rabbeinu uses his last words, eternalized by Sefer Devarim, to encourage the Jewish people to continue following Hashem and observing His mitzvot after his death. In Parshat Eikev, he minimizes Hashem's ask of the Jewish people: “And now, what does Hashem ask from you? Merely to fear Hashem, your G-d.”[1]
The gemara[2] asks the obvious question. How could Moshe present fear of G-d as a small thing? People spend their whole lives trying to achieve it and still find it elusive.

Baltimore, MD - Nov. 4, 2024 - Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), today thanked the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, and its Chair Virginia Foxx (R-NC), for the committee staff’s detailed, comprehensive 325-page report on “Antisemitism on College Campuses Exposed,” and called to “clean house” in American higher education. The report determined that “so-called university leaders intentionally declined to express support for campus Jewish communities” lest they offend antisemitic faculty and students, ignored their own rules and policies to give antisemitic vandalism and harassment a free pass, and often did so due to intervention by faculty to preclude meaningful discipline.
“To call the committee’s findings appalli...
