Baltimore, MD - Mar. 17, 2020 - 4:00 PM:

To the beloved members of our community,

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you, effective immediately, that all of our community’s Shuls are ceasing minyanim.  In addition, we instruct our entire community to abstain from making private minyanim.  This includes all minyanim, indoor and outdoor, and even if social distancing is employed.  Please understand that these difficult times require us to take dramatic steps and it is, therefore, the decision of the Vaad HaRabbonim that it is prohibited to form a minyan in any way.  To form private minyanim would be a form of misplaced piety and put our greater community in peril.  If we work together in these challenging times we will IYH emerge stronger, more vibrant and more connected to the Ribbono Shel Olam and one another.

We hope that the Rofeh Kol Basar (He who heals all flesh) will keep us healthy and safe.  May our entire community experience a refuah and yeshuah and may our Shuls once again be filled with the melodic sounds of Torah and Teffilah.
