Baltimore's homicide rate increased by at least four, as three people were shot and one person was stabbed over the weekend, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Just after 7 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 5200 block of Cuthbert Avenue for reports of a shooting. Once at the location, police found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said she was pronounced dead at the scene.

An hour later, Saturday, police received a ShotSpotter alert in the 1100 block of East North Avenue. At the scene, police found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police said the man died from his injuries, and the woman is being treated for a graze wound to the shoulder.

Around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, police received reports of an injured person in the 500 block of North Payson Street. Upon arrival, police found a man suffering from stab wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
