Baltimore, MD - Jan. 15, 2016 - The Dolphin Club is back again creating and implementing new and original chessed projects. The “Family Friendly Fun Package Project”, designed to bring a smile to the faces of families with young children, while giving a reprieve to busy moms, took place this month. “We want to get to know the family and not just give a gift," was the unanimous decision by the 13-6th grade girls. On Wednesday, January 4th, Aliza, Tali, Naomi, Mindy, Gittle, Nechama, Huvi, Rochel, chaya, Kira, Esti, Chani and Rivka Baila delivered their packages and spent time with several local families.

Upon opening the packages the excitement mounted as the items had been thoughtfully chosen for all to enjoy. Something for supper, dessert, arts and crafts, toys and nosh.

“Mrs. Devoiry Raymon was really impressed with the level of comfort between her children and the girls. I was able to sit and relax on my couch while feeding my baby without interruptions. This never happens. Maybe they could come tomorrow, asked one of her sons.”

“Mrs. Miriam Newmark stated, it worked out nicely and my family benefitted by having a truly enjoyable time. Additionally, I was able to do homework with my older daughter while the other children were engaged in activities.”

“Gavriel  Schabes age 7 asked if they could come every Wednesday. Mrs. Tzipora Schabes with a big smile on her face added, "The girls were super positive, cute and really got into the experience-they wanted to do this and they did it well. The arts and crafts and toys they brought were a good ice breaker.”

“It was a wonderful program. The girls were helpful and engaging with the children; they enjoyed playing with each other. The potato kugel and cookies were a hit as was the package they bought, so all in all it was a Hit Program, said Mrs. Malky Lehrfield".

Esti Muller, a sixth grade Dolphin Clubber sums it up "I loved it and want to go back. The kids were so cute, and it was fun."

Chessed, beginning with the desire to do for others developed into a beautiful experience of giving and sharing; joining 6thgraders with younger children and their mothers to create another Dolphin Club Program.
