Baltimore, Md - October 13, 2015 - The company that hosts the Bnos Yisroel website was hacked causing a disruption to the Bnos site. The below email was sent to the parents, staff and friends of the school by Mr. Jason Reitberger, Chairman of the Board of Bnos Yisroel:

Dear Bnos Yisroel Parents, Staff and Friends:

As you may be aware, our third party host server, which hosts many websites including Bnos Yisroel, was hacked late this afternoon.  Our website is one of many sites that was hacked by the same group.  As soon as we became aware of the breach, we contacted the necessary authorities.

Security at Bnos Yisroel continues to be a primary focus.  Our armed guards are aware of the breach, as well as the current situation in Eretz Yisroel, and will continue to be vigilant in our continued hishtadlus to keep our Bnos Yisroel campus safe.

Cybersecurity experts have advised that we were not specifically targeted and we do not need to make changes to our security protocols at this time.  Thank you for your continued partnership and vigilance.  Please remember, "if you see something, say something."  Please note that our website has now been restored.  Please act responsibly when sharing information and forward this update as necessary.

Sincerely,

Jason Reitberger,

President, Board of Directors

Ahuvah Heyman, School Director
