Kfar Yona, Isrel - July 24, 2025  - This morning, July 24th. 2025 at 09:25, reports were received at Magen David Adom’s 101 emergency dispatch center in the Sharon region about a ramming attack at a bus stop on Route 57 near Kfar Yona. MDA dispatched multiple forces to the scene, including ambulances, mobile intensive care units, Firs Responders EMTs on board motorcycles and rapid response vehicles.

MDA EMTs and paramedics provided medical treatment and evacuated eight injured individuals to Meir, Hillel Yaffe, and Laniado hospitals. Among them: a young man and woman around 20 years old in moderate condition with chest and limb injuries; three in mild-to-moderate condition with head and limb injuries; and three in mild condition.

MDA motorcycle paramedic Idan Shina, who was very close to the scene, arrived immediately and reported:

“I saw the bus stop shattered, glass broken, and nearby eight injured people. Three of them had been thrown about 15 meters back into the dirt behind the bus stop. All were fully conscious and told us that while they were standing at the bus stop, a vehicle suddenly sped toward them, hit them, and fled the scene. We performed an initial triage; other bystanders began assisting the injured, guided over the phone by MDA’s 101 dispatch center. A young man and woman about 20 years old, were assessed at the scene in moderate condition with injuries typical of vehicular trauma. Three others were in mild-to-moderate condition, and the rest were mildly injured. Within minutes, we evacuated all the wounded to hospitals using our ambulances and mobile intensive care units, which quickly arrived on the scene.”

Lior Danino, an MDA EMT from the motorcycle unit, said:

“We received a report about a vehicle that crashed into a bus stop, striking several pedestrians at the site before fleeing. Bystanders began assisting the injured with guidance from MDA’s 101 dispatch center. We arrived with large forces and saw several people lying and sitting on the ground — all fully conscious. We started initial triage: a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were in moderate condition with chest and limb injuries; three others were lightly to moderately injured, and three were lightly injured. We provided medical treatment to all and evacuated them by MDA ambulances to the hospital, continuing care en route.”

MDA Director-General Eli Bin:
“MDA teams, on high alert and operating under special readiness, arrived quickly at the scene. An MDA motorcycle paramedic who was nearby responded immediately and began initial triage — all victims were fully conscious. Simultaneously, additional ambulances and mobile intensive care units arrived and provided medical treatment before quickly evacuating the injured to hospitals. MDA remains prepared for any scenario. I wish a swift recovery to all those injured.”
