Baltimore Community Alert: Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) Does Not Represent Us
Baltimore, MD - April 27, 2025 - Dear Baltimore Jewish Community,
We want to make you aware of a serious concern:
Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) is attempting to spread its extremist, anti-Israel agenda here in Baltimore—using Jewish identity as a cover.
Please click here to send an important email on behalf of our community:

Let’s be very clear:
- JVP does not represent the Jewish community.
- JVP does not represent Jewish values.
- JVP does not represent the cause of peace.
Who is JVP?
- JVP is an openly anti-Zionist organization that supports the dangerous Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.
- BDS is a discriminatory movement that is legally restricted in Maryland under state law.
- JVP has partnered with extremists, hosted speakers who glorify terrorism, and has even engaged in Holocaust distortion—comparing Israel to Nazi Germany, an antisemitic act condemned by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA).
- JVP activists have disrupted Jewish community events across the country and blockaded entrances to Jewish institutions.
JVP does not speak for us. Period.
Polling shows the vast majority of American Jews reject JVP’s agenda. National Jewish organizations — the ADL, AJC, Jewish Federations, and others — have formally disavowed JVP’s extremism.
Now, JVP is trying to bring that extremism to Baltimore.
We cannot let them hijack our identity or mislead our neighbors.
What You Can Do:
We are asking the entire Baltimore Jewish community to take action.
You will be given a link to quickly send an email making it clear that JVP does not represent our community or the cause of peace.
Please join us in standing up for truth, for Israel, and for the integrity of the Jewish community.
Stay strong. Stay united. Stay proud.
