Jerusalem, Israel - March 27, 2025 - Some self-hating Jews in America are working overtime to try to prevent the deportation of those who hate them and wish them harm. Needless to say, these traitors should be shunned by the Jewish Community. Shunned, I say!
Protests in Gaza?
Speaking of shunning, there have reportedly been protests throughout the Gaza Strip against continued Hamas rule. The most prominent of the protests took place in the northern Gaza Strip. Ironically, exactly where Israel just recently informed the population that they would need to evacuate soon in preparation for a large-scale Israeli incursion. Rockets were also fired at Israel this week from northern Gaza as well.
What is going on here? Every rabid animal kicks before it dies and it doesn’t get more rabid than the lovely Gazans. This is all a show. Israel has threatened recently, for the first time in the entire conflict that commenced on Oct. 7th (actually since 2005), that if the hostages are harmed and not released soon, that Israel would conquer northern Gaza permanently. How can the fun loving folks in Gaza prevent this? They can’t get the hostages released and they can’t/dont want to replace Hamas. This is an attempt to garner international support and prevent Israel from carrying through on its threat. “We don’t like Hamas”, “It’s not our fault”, blah, blah, blah. These people are evil, not dumb. As I mentioned last week, I’m pretty suspicious of the veracity of Israel’s threat, but it seems some folks in northern Gaza are taking it at least nominally seriously.
Meanwhile, Israel successfully continued to assassinate Hamas leaders and terrorist operatives this week. One was killed while hiding in a hospital (shocking!) by an Israeli drone. While Israeli forces have penetrated further into Gaza in specific places, there has been no large-scale invasion. Without a deal to bring home at least 5-10 living hostages in the very near future, expect things to escalate dramatically very soon.
Syria
For the first time in quite some time, shots were fired at IDF soldiers in Syria this week. Hard to understand why this was a good idea. The IDF returned fire and killed at least 5 Syrians. Subsequently, large numbers of residents of the village, which was the source of the gunfire, began to evacuate. It seems that this particular village is built on land that was purchased by Baron Edmond de Rothschild 135 years ago and was worked by Jews until they were expelled by the Ottoman shortly thereafter. Seems it be time to get back our land!
Lebanon
Nothing new. Although I saw pointed out that it was the Mossad that gathered such impressive intelligence on Hezbollah and designed and implemented strategies, like the explosive pagers, that decimated both their leadership and numerous terror agents. This is in strong contrast to the Shin Bet who was supposed to be gathering intel on Gaza. Whoopsies. Now the loser who was in charge doesn’t want to resign and is fighting being fired. Dude is in fact getting fired and it’s way way overdue. The courts are delaying it, but it will happen.
Yemen
The US continued this week to bomb the hell out of Yemen, or at least parts of that desert wonderland. The head Sheikh is still alive somehow. For the first time, other Yemenite tribes are starting to threaten the Houthis and their position of power. I never have to worry about offending the Yemenites in the news update because reading ain’t really their thing. Pretty much anything involving using your brain, ain’t really their thing. Over-emotional threats and very misguided thoughts of grandeur, that’s their thing. Like rural philosopher and philanthropist Billy Cunningham taught in “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer” - everyone is good at something!
Judea and Samaria
Things remain stable for the most part. All good and terrible things do come to an end and Ramadan is one of the terrible things that is thankfully ending very soon in the next few days. Israeli forces continued to work, obviously, during the “holiday” month and terrorists were eliminated and captured. There is a debate as to how well IDF leadership in Judea and Samaria has performed recently in combating terror and terror infrastructure. They’ve done a lot, but could they have done much more? Not sure, but they certainly are doing a better job than the police in the Old City of Jerusalem, so they got that going for them.
A very joyful moment took place this week when Jews entered a house they purchased in the biblical city of Hevron (Hebron). The Arab tenants were out at a Ramadan event - who says that Ramadan is all bad?!! - when the Jews forcibly entered the premises. So far, the authorities seem content with the Jews’ proof of purchase. Three Jewish families are currently residing in the property and the IDF is providing on-site protection. Mazel tov!
Domestic Israeli Politics
The Coalition Government has successfully passed a budget! This is not too surprising, but there were those on the left who were holding out hope that it wouldn’t happen. I guess when you refuse to follow your own religion, you can make yourself believe some pretty ridiculous things. It is true that if the budget had not been passed by the end of the month, then new elections would have been called. And as that witty Italian said on some British tv show: “If my Grandmother had wheels, she would have been a bike.”.
Protests continue over who knows what at this point. Depending on which angry leftist you ask there is a different reason why they are protesting. Once again, Israel and the US are suffering from the same infestation: Unelected officials preventing elected officials from doing what they were elected to do by those who elected them.
Speaking of elections, voting for the American delegates to the World Zionist Congress are currently ongoing. Please vote #11 - Eretz Kodesh. I approve this message!
