Thank You to Our Volunteers for Delivering Shalach Manos to Maryland’s Military and Veterans

Baltimore, MD - March 19, 2025 - We extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to delivering Shalach Manos to military personnel and veterans across Maryland. Through the combined efforts of the Jewish Uniformed Service Association - Chabad and Post 167 of the Jewish War Veterans of the USA, service members and veterans were able to experience the warmth and joy of the holiday.

Volunteers traveled across Baltimore and beyond, ensuring that Jewish veterans and active-duty personnel received these meaningful holiday packages. In some cases, they were also able to spend time with veterans, listening to their stories and sharing in their experiences. One such moment was with Bernard Vine, a 102-year-old World War II veteran, whose incredible journey continues to inspire us all.

To everyone who participated in this effort: thank you. Your dedication made a meaningful impact, reminding our Jewish servicemembers and veterans that they are not forgotten. We are truly grateful for your generosity and commitment to this important mitzvah.
