Baltimore, MD - Feb. 14, 2025 - When it comes to energy bills, when comparing bills from residents in Maryland and surrounding states like Pennsylvania and Virginia, residents are paying more in Maryland.

Bills provided by residents in Maryland, showed bills ranging from about $400 to $900, for homes ranging from about 1,400 to 2,000 square feet.

"When I saw that bill, I was flabbergasted," said Pikesville resident Yehuda Diamond.

However, comparing those bills to bills of residents in either similar-sized or larger homes, other fees have also contributed to the higher costs.
