Here's what to expect:
Friday Afternoon and Evening:
•    Snowfall: A quick-moving band of moderate to heavy snow will pass through, lasting 1-2 hours.
•    Accumulation: Surface temperatures are above freezing, but intense snowfall could leave a slushy 1-2 inches north of I-70, including parts of Baltimore County.
•    Travel Impacts: Minimal issues are expected during the evening, but slushy roads could develop in some areas.
•    Winds: Gusts of 35-45 mph are possible later in the afternoon and evening, making travel challenging.

Monday's Winter Storm:
•    Snowfall Accumulation: Models are still refining predictions, but moderate to heavy snow is increasingly likely:
o    Areas north of I-70, including Baltimore, could see several to many inches of snow.
o    South of I-70, expect snow to mix with sleet after a couple of inches accumulate.
o    A band of 6+ inches is possible across central and northern Maryland into southern Pennsylvania.
•    School Closures: With high confidence, many schools are expected to close on Monday.
•    Winter Storm Watches: These will likely be issued on Friday as a heads-up for Monday’s impactful storm.
